Sesame Venison Steak

Ingredients

1 lb boneless sirloin or tenderloin venison steak
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Deer Dummy teriyaki jerky seasoning
3 tbsp. green onion-chopped
2 cloves garlic-minced
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
3/4 c. beef broth
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

Partially freeze steak & cut into 1/8” slices-cutting across the grain. Set aside. Mix oil, soy sauce, black pepper, onions & garlic together. Put in glass bowl. Add venison slices, coat well and marinate fir 30-60 minutes in refrigerator. Drain meat & reserve marinade.

In wok or large fry pan, heat 1 tbsp. sesame oil on medium-light heat. Brown meat, turning 3-4 minutes

Add 3/4 c. beef broth to reserved marinade, mixing with 1 rounded tbsp. cornstarch. Pour over meat till thickened. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Garnish with green onion. Serve with soy sauce on the side & your favorite Jasmine rice dish. Serves 4
