  • 2 lbs.                    ground venison
  • 1/3 lb.                   pork sausage
  • 1                           med. Onion
  • 2                           eggs
  • 1                           green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp                  garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp                  salt
  • 1/4 tsp                  pepper
  • 1 cup                    dry bread crumb
  • 1/2 cup                brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup                cider viniger
  • 2 cups                  tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp                    soy sauce
  • 2 tsp                    mustard
  • optional               bacon
                                                               
                Cooking Directions
  1. In a large bowl mix venison, sausage, onion, green pepper, garlic salt, salt, pepper, bread crumbs
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, vinegar, tomato sauce, soy sauce, mustard
  3. Mix meat mixture with 1 1/4 cups tomato sauce mixture
  4. Form into a loaf and place in a shallow baking dish
  5. Pour remaining sauce mixture over loaf and bake at 350 degree F for about 1 hour.
  6. Serves 4 to 6
