10. Amtrak California Zephyr
You will start in San Francisco and travel for over fifty hours to arrive in Chicago. You will see everything from the ocean, to begin with to the Rocky Mountains and all the plains and prairies in between. You will see the Red Rocks of Utah and the Sierra Nevada mountains, as well, when you ride the California Zephyr.
