If you have ever looked for a recipe that is easy, tastes great, and family friendly then look no further. These little meat loaves come together rather quickly and can be modified to whatever might sound good on that particular day. I’ve made these with buffalo sauce and steak sauce instead of the Worcester sauce just to name a few. Also, the different ingredients can be modified at any point to match particular tastes that might reside in your house. For example, this recipe has jalapenos because my wife will not be eating them. If she were to be eating them, then God knows a jalapeno better not even be in the house let alone included in this recipe. Mix and match and find a mini-loaf that works best for you.
2lbs ground venison
Like I wrote at the top of the recipe, these are just the ingredients that I used to make this specific recipe. You can add whatever you like. First off, thaw out the venison and place in a mixing bowl. Combine all the above listed ingredients including the cheese and egg. Mix everything together very well in the bowl. Its easiest to just use your bare hands but a couple spoons would probably work. Just make sure everything is combined.
Next, use a tablespoon and scoop the mixture into a muffin pan. I sprayed mine down with non-stick olive oil just to be sure nothing would get stuck to the bottom of the pan. After all the holes are filled, place it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 300.
That’s about all there is to it! This is about as easy as it gets when it comes to making a wild game recipe that looks a lot more complicated than what it really is. Garnish with a little hot sauce, ranch, ketchup, steak sauce, or just eat it plain. If you would like to see more of my wild game recipes, follow me on Twitter at @bradsmith319. Thanks for looking.
