with Fred and Michele Eichler
Colorado bowhunting family aligns with most hardworking hunting apparel and safety brand
MUSKEGON, MI (July 19, 2019) – In today’s bowhunting world, few individuals are more accomplished – or more humble – than Fred Eichler. Fred was the first person to take all 29 North American big game animals recognized by Pope & Young with a recurve bow.
A man of undeniable achievement, Eichler’s passion for bowhunting has taken him all over the world in pursuit of adventure, but he’s always kept things in perspective along the way. One of the most approachable public figures in bowhunting, Fred has a fundamental belief that any animal taken with a bow is a trophy, and has an undeniable penchant for teaching and sharing his passions with his family, viewers and readers. Those who run across Fred in the woods, at the archery shop or an outdoor show are greeted with a smile, a friendly handshake and can expect to share a laugh.
Eichler lives in Trinidad, Colorado with his wife Michele, their three boys, ten dogs, eight horses, twenty chickens, six fainting goats, bees and an ugly cat. The Eichler family operates Fulldraw Outfitters, providing high-quality guided and non-guided hunts for Colorado big game. In addition to bowhunting, Fred enjoys predator hunting, trapping, writing, wildlife photography and hanging out with his family. In addition to guiding hunters, the Eichler’s live the field-to-table lifestyle, are raising cattle and are running a commercial hay operation all from their ranch.
Turns out, Fred and Michele Eichler’s hunting lifestyle and get-your-hands-dirty approach to life meshes seamlessly with the principles and hardworking ScentBlocker and Shield Series products ofBlocker Outdoors. Fred and Michele are no strangers to ScentBlocker products, and have utilized them in the past to put animals on the ground.
“Blocker products provide an advantage in every type of hunting activity, and are a natural fit with the Eichler’s 365-days-a-year outdoors lifestyle,” says Aaron Ambur, fellow bowhunter and President of Nexus Outdoors, Blocker’s parent company. “Fred and Michele’s popularity comes as a result of the great people they are, the simple way they live, and the fantastic things they’ve accomplished through their own efforts. Amidst all the showbiz in today’s hunting industry, the Eichlers are as genuine and as humble as they come, and are always ready to lend a helping hand and do what’s best for our bowhunting industry. We are so proud to have them representing our brands.”
Fred has been fortunate to share his love and enthusiasm of the sport with fellow bowhunters across the country through his television shows, personal appearances and his writing. Fred has hostedEaston Bowhunting TV, Predator Nation TV, was co-host of Ford Outfitters and currently hostsEverything Eichler on Sportsman Channel with his family. His popular articles and photos have appeared in Bowhunter, Bowhunting World, North American Hunter, Western Hunter, Predator Nation and Traditional Bowhunter magazines.
“Michele and I couldn’t be happier to have made this connection with Blocker Outdoors, and we’re looking forward to representing their excellent brands which resonate with and are trusted by so many passionate hunters,” says Eichler.
